Login Log

Articles:

What information you can see in the login log and how to work with the applied restrictions.

The login log is a history of all login attempts by each student from various devices, IP addresses, and all of their sessions. You can find the login log on the contact card: in the top menu, select Contacts, then on the page that opens, enter the student’s email in the search bar and click on their name. In the contact card, open the Login History tab:

Additionally, all contacts who fall under restrictions are marked in the contact list in the Last Activity column. You will see a notification there indicating that the contact has violated established restrictions. Clicking on the session ID will take you to the corresponding page.

Login History in the Contact Card

The tab contains three subsections that display different data and reports:

  • Login History

  • Devices

  • History of restrictions

This tab also includes a toggle switch that allows you to disable checks for a specific participant.

Login History

You can view the login history, which gathers all data on each participant's login.

You can see:

  • session history

  • last activity (determined by the previous interaction of the student with the platform: opening a course, lesson, offer, or payment page, watching a video, completing a task — but not more often than once every 30 seconds)

  • device and browser information, etc.

Devices

The Devices tab lists the devices used to log into the student’s account.

Device tracking is also implemented via cookies. If a student opens a course on the same device using two different browsers, it will be counted as two different devices.

More accurate tracking would require clients’ permission to obtain MAC addresses, which most clients will not provide.

Therefore, based on the screenshot, it is impossible to confirm with 100% certainty whether a student logged in from 3 devices (or only 2, e.g., a phone and a laptop).

You can block or allow access for each device individually in the Device Access to the Platform column.

History of Restrictions

The History of Restrictions tab shows the complete record of restrictions applied based on the settings in Access Control.

For convenience, a Log Status feature has been added. This allows you to mark violations that you have already reviewed. The log status does not affect the actual restriction applied to the participant and does not change it. It only affects the notification in the general contact list, indicating that there are unread violations for the participant, and this is visible only to you in your contacts.
