Your project now has a Chats section. Until now the only place to talk to students on the platform was the webinar room chat — now conversations live next to your courses, with no need for a third-party messenger.
Direct messages and group chats
Message a student directly or set up a group chat for a cohort, a plan or a product. Webinar chats are collected here too, in a section of their own, and work just like the rest.
Members join on their own
Add people by hand or pick a source: all contacts, contact lists, a plan or a product. A student who buys joins the chat automatically and leaves it after a refund or when access ends. You can see where each member came from. Your staff answer as a team — students see a reply from the school rather than from a particular person — and an assistant can stay anonymous.
Settings that fit your format
Set how long the chat is available — your own dates or the same as plan access — and what happens afterwards: the chat is hidden or stays read-only. The "own conversation only" mode turns a group chat into a private thread with each student. There are also quiet hours, scheduled messages, pinned messages, reactions, message search, reports and blocking.
