Storage accumulates hundreds of files, and a filename rarely tells you where a given one came from. Every file is now tagged with its source on upload: course cover, lesson preview, comment attachment, webinar recording, image from an email and so on.
A new settings section lists every upload source alongside the tags a file receives from it. The set is editable: an account can follow its own rules rather than the shared defaults.
What it gives you: storage becomes filterable by source. You can see which materials take up space, find every comment attachment or every webinar preview at once, and understand exactly what you are about to remove before a cleanup.
Some tags are applied automatically and are not listed in the settings — for instance, a file's link to a course or module follows from where its lesson sits. Tags on an individual file can always be adjusted by hand on the Tags tab.
The settings live under Storage → Source tags.
