Integrations now include email address verification through an external service. Once connected, addresses are checked automatically wherever a contact enters the account: subscription forms, manual entry, creation via the API.
You choose what happens to an invalid address:
- skip and flag — the contact is added, but no emails are sent to it;
- block — the address is rejected. Not available everywhere: the hints in the settings show where it applies.
Verification keeps dead addresses out of your base: they distort campaign statistics and hurt sender reputation, which makes delivery worse for real recipients.
Reports now include a verification log: which address was checked, when, with what result and what was done about it. The log exports to a file — useful for reviewing disputed cases or showing a contractor where a bad list came from.
Verification during file imports is not connected yet: bulk checking works differently and will arrive separately.
