Video and audio in a lesson now show how much of it a student has already watched, and the playback bar marks the furthest point they reached. If the material was counted as watched earlier, before we collected detailed statistics, it simply says «watched» instead of a percentage.
In the course outline, completion marks now appear on every section of a lesson, not just on the lesson as a whole. A lesson counts as done once every section available to that student is complete — whatever their plan hides does not affect the result. Modules without lessons count as done as soon as the student opens them, and for the rest the moment of the first visit is recorded. The outline itself is more compact: modules, submodules and lessons are laid out on a single level.
Student analytics for a course now include sections with their progress, and modules show completion status and dates. Where to find it is described in How to see the progress of participants.
Course preview gained an "As myself" mode: the course opens with your own access, and if you have none, you see exactly what such a student sees. Note that progress and watch statistics are now recorded for an expert only in this mode. In the other preview modes — by plan, by offer or as another student — nothing is written, so that your checks do not distort the real picture.
