We've expanded Kwiga's localization with new interface languages and currencies, making it easier to use the platform and sell products in different countries.
🌐 Five more interface languages
The Kwiga interface is now also available in Serbian, Slovak, Turkish, and Thai. The platform now supports 21 languages.
Experts and students can each choose their language in their profile settings. Everything displayed by the platform appears in the selected language: the account, course curriculum, lesson and assignment page interfaces, widget and mini-landing page builder, webinar room, sign-in form, and notifications.
However, content created by the expert is not translated — course, lesson, and page content stays as the author added it.
The Serbian interface uses the Latin alphabet, making it convenient not only for users in Serbia but also for audiences in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and other countries in the region.
💳 New currencies for sales
We've added these currencies:
- 🇷🇸 Serbian dinar (RSD)
- 🇹🇷 Turkish lira (TRY)
- 🇹🇭 Thai baht (THB)
- 🇰🇬 Kyrgyzstani som (KGS)
You can now set product prices in these currencies, and students will see prices in a format familiar to them. Exchange rates update automatically, just as they do for other supported currencies.
Slovakia doesn't need a separate currency — it uses the euro, which the platform already supports.
🌍 A dedicated language for a page
If you're targeting an audience in a specific country, you can set a language for a page. The page will then open in that language regardless of the visitor's language settings.
