A lesson used to be all or nothing: if a plan opened it, the student saw everything inside. You can now hide individual blocks and practical assignments within a lesson for a specific plan — video, text, file, comments, an assignment or an assignment list. Every block has three states: show, hide, or same as in the course.
That removes the need to duplicate a course. The same lesson runs without homework review on the basic plan, and with every assignment and extra material on the extended one. In the course builder every block now has an eye toggle: a block can be hidden without deleting it. A hidden block is invisible to students, is not required to complete the lesson and does not count towards progress — handy while material is being prepared or is temporarily irrelevant.
A lesson can now hold several assignment lists, so tasks can be split between them — say, “Required” in one section and “Optional” in another. An assignment inside a list is no longer limited: it has the same settings as one in a standalone assignment block — progress tracking, visibility in the course program, checkpoint, opening and closing dates, design template. Assignments now belong to lesson sections rather than to the lesson as a whole: in a multi-section lesson each section carries its own tasks and opens them along with itself. The practice page has been reworked — it has a lesson-style header, unified navigation across assignments and page-by-page browsing, so students keep their bearings while moving between tasks.
Hidden blocks do not distort progress: assignments unavailable on a plan count towards neither the completion percentage nor the checkpoints, and progress is recalculated whenever visibility changes — students see a reachable 100% rather than a frozen number. The plan card keeps a change history, so it is clear who changed the contents and when.
