How to add your offer to the registration form, how to add the offer to the widget, and the registration form when signing up for a course.
In this article:
You can add a link to your offer, which outlines the course participation rules and sales terms, into the course registration form and the widget or application form if you are using that tool. Alternatively, you can add a checkbox that students must check to confirm their agreement with the stated rules. Below are examples of where you can add your offer on your own.
If you need to place a link to your offer in the footer of your dashboard, please contact support. When doing so, include the dashboard's name (project link) and the offer's text in a Word document.

Examples Where You Can Manually Add a Link to the Offer
-
On the registration form, at the first step of filling out the form that appears on the offer page. You can modify the text highlighted in yellow, specify your offer, and provide a link to it.
-
On the registration form, at the second step of filling out the form that appears on the offer page. You can add a checkbox (you define the checkbox text yourself) and modify the text highlighted in yellow. In this text, you can indicate your offer and provide a link to it (you can also change the fields required for the client to fill out during registration; this is described in a separate article).
-
Create a separate registration widget (or mini-landing page) with the necessary fields and a checkbox confirming that clients agree to the terms and conditions. An example of such a widget is shown below. You can customize it as you like—colors, fonts, etc.
Adding the Offer on the First Registration Step
You can edit the registration fields, and the text clients see during registration (highlighted in yellow in the screenshot below).
In the first step, the client enters their email address or authorization via Facebook or Google (if enabled in your settings). You cannot add additional input fields at this step.
To change the text or add a link to your offer, select Contacts in the top menu. On the opened page, click Settings:
Then, select Customizing Fields For Registration:
Scroll down to the Step 1 section, and at the very bottom, you will see the item Processing of Personal Data. In this block, you can edit the text, add your own content, and insert a link to the offer. You can host the offer online using Google Drive, a separate page on your website, or a mini-landing page on Kwiga.
Note: The changes described above apply to global settings and affect all new contact registrations for your project. You can also separately change registration settings for each of your products (done in Field Settings During Registration), where standard/global project settings can be overridden.
If changes do not appear on the registration page for a specific course, check whether these settings have been overridden for that particular course.
Adding an Offer on the Second Registration Step
At the second registration step, you can edit the text (similarly to the first step) and add a separate checkbox so that clients must tick it, thus performing an additional action to accept the terms, which aligns with EU consent requirements.
Adding a Checkbox
Adding a checkbox to the registration form requires several steps:
Step 1: Adding a New Custom Field
To do this, go to Contacts – Settings – Add Custom Fields. Click the +Global Field button.
In the field type, select Checkbox, and in the name field, enter the text that clients will see next to the checkbox. You can also choose a default value (whether the checkbox is ticked by default) and an error message (optional). Click Save.
Step 2: Adding the Created Checkbox to the Registration Form
Select the Customizing Fields for Registration tab (if you've already closed Contact Settings, you can find it again by going to Contacts – Settings – Customizing Fields for Registration).
Scroll to Step 2 – Second Step of the Authorization Modal Window section. In this block, you can add fields the client must fill in, including the checkbox you previously created. Click the +Field button:
In the field list, find the required field and click Add.
If this is a required field, make sure the asterisk next to it in the general list is marked in red:
Since it is not possible to add a link to the offer in this section, we recommend placing the full text of the terms in the Processing of Personal Data block, where you can edit the text and add a link to the document (toggle the switch to Custom Option):
After that, add the necessary text and insert the link by highlighting a word or directly including the URL in the text.
Note: The changes described above relate to global settings, meaning they will apply to all new contact registrations on your project. You can modify the registration settings for each product separately (this is done in Settings – Customizing Fields for Registration), where standard/global project settings can be overridden. If the changes did not appear on the registration page for a specific course, check whether those settings have been overridden in that particular course.
If a client is already registered on your project and exists in the contact list, then after making these changes and adding the new field, they will be prompted to complete the required field (tick the checkbox and accept the terms) when purchasing a new product.
Adding an Offer to the Widget (Application Form) for Registration
If you use a widget on your landing page where clients register and pay for a course, you can add a checkbox to indicate agreement with the terms and a text/link to the offer.
Step 1: Adding a New Custom Field (for Accepting Terms)
To do this, open Contacts → Settings → Add Custom Fields. Click the +Global Field button.
In the field type, select Checkbox, and in the name field, enter the text that clients will see next to the checkbox. You can also choose a default value (whether the checkbox should be ticked by default) and an error message (optional). Click Save.
Step 2: Adding the Created Checkbox to the Widget
Open your widget in editing mode — either the one you plan to use or are already using — and where you need to add the agreement checkbox for the offer. In the builder, select to add another field (the Field button):
Select the desired field from the list:
If the field is mandatory for form submission (i.e., the client must agree to the terms to proceed with payment), mark this field as required in the widget. Even if you've marked this field as required in the registration field settings, you must also mark it as required in the widget settings.
Additionally, you can set a default value (selected — checkbox ticked, or not selected — checkbox not ticked), field name in the widget, hint text, and other settings.
After setting everything up, make sure to check the correct order of the fields in the widget and their placement relative to the button.
Step 3: Adding a Link to the Offer or Terms Text
This is an optional step and only necessary if you want to give your clients the opportunity to review the terms or offer text directly in the widget.
To do this, add another field to the form — Text. In the field that appears, you can insert the text and a link to the terms.
