What to do if a student hasn't had time to complete the course. How to extend access to the course to one or more participants.
In this article:
Sometimes, participants are unable to complete a course within the given timeframe. For example, someone may fall ill or be busy with work. The Kwiga platform allows you to easily add time and extend access for individual students and all participants within a specific plan.
How to Extend Access for an Individual Participant
If you need to give more time to a specific person, you can do so quickly and easily:
-
Via the Contact Card:
-
Open the contact card and go to the Products tab.
-
-
Click Extend next to the access expiration date.
-
Specify the number of days or months you want to extend access for and click Confirm.
-
Via the Course Participants Tab:
-
Navigate to the desired course and open the Members tab.
-
-
In the Access Closes column, find the participant’s name and click Extend next to their access expiration date. Specify the new duration and save the changes.
The student's access will be extended immediately upon saving the changes. The new date will be displayed under the course title. Additionally, the participant will receive an email notification regarding the updated access date for the course materials.
How to Change the Access Expiration Date for All Participants in a Plan
If you want to grant additional time to all students within a specific plan, you don’t need to extend access for each student individually. Instead, use the Offer Settings feature:
-
Open the Courses menu.
-
Go to the Price plans, offers section.
-
Select the desired offer.
-
In the Product block, modify the duration of content access.
You can specify a new expiration date, add a certain number of days or months, or set unlimited access for plan participants.
When changing the access duration in the offer settings, the new date will be displayed in the student’s profile under the course title. However, email notifications about the change will not be sent.
