The student entered wrong email

Articles:

The described solution works when a student enters the wrong email during the purchase and can not log into their account to see the paid course.

When making a payment, the customer provides an email address, which is used to grant access. The email entered also serves as the login for the platform. Only the customer themselves can change their login by accessing their profile. However, if the customer entered an incorrect email, they will not be able to log into their profile and make the necessary changes.

Below is the solution path to this problem.

Please note that changing the email on the customer's contact card does not change the customer's login! These actions only update the address used for receiving notifications. The screenshot below shows an example where changes were made to the contact card:

The client's login remains a.l.an.a13t.y@gmail.com.
If the client tries to log in using kwigacorrect@gmail.com, they will not have access to the paid course, as these are two different profiles.
To grant the client access through the correct email profile, you will need to manually add this access.

Your steps:
Step 1: In the menu, go to Courses - Students and enter the correct email. If no result is found, proceed to Step 2.
If a result is found, open the contact card (by clicking on the student’s name).
Check if there is a message on the contact card stating that the user's email is different (see the screenshot below).
If such a message is present – click Update and return to the list of students.
If there is no such message, proceed to Step 3.

Step 2: Add a contact with the correct email.

You can add a student using the + button.

In the form that opens, enter the name and email address.
Filling out the other fields is optional, as is changing the default switch settings.
Once the contact is added, it will appear at the top of the student list.
Click on the contact’s name to open the contact card.

Step 3: Go to the Products tab on the contact card.

Click the +Product button, then select the required product (course, marathon, or closed group).
Switch the toggle to Offer and choose the offer that the client originally paid for.
You can leave the other settings unchanged.
After that, click the Save button.

Step 4: You can delete the contact with the incorrect email.

To do this, enter the incorrect email address, click the trash bin icon, and confirm the deletion.
