It describes how a student can access their dashboard and possible issues.
In this article:
The simplest way to log in is by opening kwiga.com or the course page, school page, and logging into the platform by entering your email address and password.
Most often, the student will receive an email notification about the successful purchase or granting of access to the course, which contains a link to the student dashboard or the course. If the student has not previously accessed the Kwiga platform, they will need to confirm their login by entering a code received via email. If the student has logged in to the platform before and set a password, they need to enter that password. When using the same browser again, the student does not need to enter their login and password again because cookies are stored in the browser. However, if the student changes browsers, clears the cache and cookies, they will need to go through the login process again.
Note: When clicking a link from an app on a phone (e.g., Gmail, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram), links open in an embedded browser. This is not a feature specific to the Kwiga platform; all links, including ads on Facebook or Instagram, open this way. The embedded browser looks very similar to a regular browser, but it does not store sessions, meaning you will need to log in every time. Therefore, we recommend logging in once using a regular browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc., and using that browser for subsequent study sessions.
Embedded Browser and First Login on Mobile, Login via Code
If the student tries to click a link in the email, and the platform asks for a code to be sent to their email, they will encounter an issue when using the embedded browser: the code will be invalid. Clicking the button in the email opens the embedded browser, which requests the code and sends it to the student’s email. The student then opens the mail app again, clicks the link, and tries to access the platform, but this is now a new login attempt that triggers a request for a new code, preventing the student from accessing their account. In this case, it is essential that the student accesses the platform not via the embedded browser, but via a regular browser, such as Chrome, by entering the platform address. The page address can also be copied from the email. Alternatively, before entering the code in the embedded browser, the student should choose the "open in browser" option by clicking on the regular browser icon or selecting "open in browser" from the menu (three dots). This option is not always available and depends on the device and the embedded browser of the app.
An additional solution to this problem is to remind the student of their access: in this case, the student will receive an email with a "magic link," allowing them to log in without a password and code. After this, the student will need to set a password and remember it for future logins. Access reminder can be triggered by opening the student's contact and clicking the appropriate button.
The student does not remember their password
If the student does not remember their password, then after entering the login (email address), the student can choose to Restore access.
When you click on this button and confirm the email. Addresses, the student will receive an email code, after entering which the student will be able to immediately enter a new password:
Please note! If the student uses the built-in browser, then when entering the code, the student will be faced with the fact that the code will be invalid. The built-in browser does not store sessions, which means that each opening is “like a clean slate” and a new code is requested each time. To avoid this, the student needs to open the link in a regular web browsing application, such as Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc. You can also copy the page address from the email or specify kwiga.com (or the address of your project). Alternatively, when opening the built-in browser BEFORE requesting the code, you need to select the open in a regular browser option by clicking on the icon of a regular browser, or select open in a browser from the three dots menu. This option is not always available and depends on the device and the built-in browser of the application.
