We will discuss examples of using the block above the lessons and the available settings.
In the settings, there is an option called “Block Above Lessons” — it allows you to add a block above each lesson in your course. This block can include any kind of content:
-
Images
-
Text
-
Buttons and links for joining Zoom, opening calendars, or special offers
-
Embedded videos (iframe)
You can configure the block by going to Settings → Public Page Settings.
Scroll down the page, and you will find the settings for the lesson/module page.
The information specified in this section will be displayed in every lesson of the course. You can simply upload an image that will be shown as the course banner.
Below, you can see a screenshot of the course page or view it via the link.
In the settings, hover over the image and select “Settings” — there you can choose whether to display this image on mobile, tablet, or laptop devices.
Accordingly, you can upload different images for mobile and laptop devices by specifying which image should be displayed on which device.
This block can also be used for posting news or announcements, since any student entering the course will see the information added to this block.
Another common use case is adding a link to the course’s Telegram chat, support contact details, or other helpful links that are convenient to display on all lesson pages.
