How to access and download analytics of assignments completion on the course.

The Practice tab in the course analytics section provides a convenient tool for tracking statistics on the completion of assignments. The purpose of this report is to ensure transparency of participants' progress, analyze results, and identify areas for improvement.

To access the tab:

  1. Open the Courses menu at the top.

  1. Select a product in the Courses section and go to Course Settings.

  1. Open tab Progress, analytics and navigate to Practice.

The table displays detailed information about each assignment or exercise, allowing you to evaluate its effectiveness and track participants' progress. If needed, the report can be downloaded in .csv or .xlsx format using the Export button. Below is a description of all report indicators and their practical meaning.

Name of practice
Contains clickable titles divided into two parts:

The first part, for example, Grilled Watermelon, leads to statistics for this particular practice. This is useful if you want to see your overall performance on a particular assignment.

The second part, for example, Sweet and Salty Grilled Watermelon, leads to the lesson in the Practice tab directly in the course, where you can view participant responses.

Participants

Shows the number of students who completed the assignments. Helps you understand how popular or difficult the task was.

Attempts (avg)

Displays the average number of attempts to complete a task. If the number of attempts is high, this may indicate difficulties in understanding the task or the need for additional explanations, or vice versa, interest in the task.
Note: the number of possible attempts is configured when creating a task.

Time

Shows the average time students spend completing the assignment. For example, if the time is too long, the task may need to be simplified or the instructions need to be improved.

Average score

It is calculated as the sum of all points received by students divided by the number of students who started the task. This indicator allows you to evaluate the average level of performance of the group. For example, a low score may indicate the difficulty of the task or the need for additional study material.

Started

Shows the number of students who have started the task, regardless of its status. This helps to understand how much the task engages students in the process.

Not started

Displays the number of students who have not started the assignment. If there are many such students, perhaps the task requires a clearer name or additional motivation.

Completed

The number of participants who completed the task. This measure of the effectiveness of an assignment allows you to evaluate its effectiveness.

Failed

Indicates the number of students who did not complete the assignment successfully.

Checking

Two numbers are displayed:
The first is the sum of assignments in the
Under review status.
The second is the sum of assignments in previous attempts that remained in the
Under review status at the time of the last attempt. Current status: Under review(automatically closed).

On completion

Shows the number of assignments returned to students for correction.

In progress

Shows the number of assignments that students have not yet completed. This indicator allows you to evaluate the dynamics of students’ work on practical assignments.

A detailed analysis of these indicators allows not only to track the progress of course participants but also to improve the methodology for presenting materials and the complexity of practical tasks.
