Duplicate or use Offers: What’s Better

If you want to duplicate a course to provide access to a new stream or set up a different rate, using Offers is the most efficient solution.
Note: Offers allow you to:

Configure various rates and pricing.

Manage access for different course streams.

Set up promotional deals and more.

In this case, you can opt out of duplicating by clicking Ok, Cancel Copy, and go to the menu Courses  → Price plans, offers to configure access.

Start copying

If duplicating the course is still necessary, press Another reason, Start copying

After that, you will see a message that Duplication is in progress...
This process may take a few minutes as materials are transferred gradually.

Important: While the course status is Copying, avoid changing it. Wait until the status updates to Draft to prevent errors.

What Happens After Duplication

The duplicate course will appear in your list of products with the prefix Copy in front of the name. From this moment, it becomes a separate product. You can edit and configure it independently, and add or remove materials, without affecting the original course.

Note: If the course contains practice assignments, they are not automatically copied. The duplicate course will reference the same quizzes as the original. To change the practices in the duplicated course, you must first create new practices and add them manually to the duplicate.
