Quickly duplicate a lesson while preserving all settings and content to save time. Get an exact copy for editing or instant publishing.
Copying a lesson significantly reduces time spent on manual tasks, as you won’t need to recreate the structure, add content, or adjust settings manually. Everything you need will be copied, allowing you to jump straight into editing or finalizing the new lesson.
How to copy lesson content?
-
In the top menu, navigate to the Courses section and select the Courses product.
-
Open the Lessons tab for the desired course.
-
Click on the lesson you want to copy content to.
-
Go to the Settings tab within the lesson.
-
Locate the toggle for Copy content and settings from another lesson and enable it (it should turn green).
-
Select the lesson from the list that you want to copy the content from.
What is copied?
When you copy a lesson, all the main settings and content are copied as they are to a new lesson. This means the lesson’s structure, text materials, and any added links will stay the same. You’ll get an exact copy of the original lesson, which you can then edit as needed. This is especially convenient when you need to create multiple similar lessons without duplicating work manually.
Important points to note
Lesson сontent: Videos, audio, and images from the lesson are not copied as new files. Instead, the same files that were uploaded earlier are used. This saves storage space and avoids extra costs.
Practical tasks: If the lesson includes practical tasks, they won’t be copied. The new lesson will include the same tasks as the original one. If you need to edit quizzes in the lesson as well - make their copy separately.
