Learn how to configure a specific language for your offer page to ensure it opens in the desired language for your users.
Kwiga is a multilingual platform that automatically adapts to the user. By default, the language is determined according to the browser settings. For example, if your browser is set to Ukrainian, the platform will open in Ukrainian. If the browser's language is set to English or Polish, the interface will display those languages.
However, the system also takes into account not only the browser language. If there is a mismatch between the user's location (determined by IP address) and the browser language settings, a window will appear asking the user to choose the most convenient option. Furthermore, if the user has visited the platform before, it will remember their choice and will open in the same language on the next visit.
It is possible to open any page in the required language, and this is described in more detail in a separate article.
How to set the language for the offer link
What if you need your offer to open in a strictly specific language, regardless of the browser settings or previous user visits? It’s simple — just add the special parameter ?locale=language_code to the link.
For example, if you need the page to always open in Ukrainian, you should use: ?locale=uk
Example: https://sampleschool.kwiga.com/offers/tQLHgTTxoR7k?locale=uk
This ensures that even for new or unauthorized users, the offer will open in Ukrainian.
