First, your clients make the payment, and then they are authorized by entering their details.
The settings in the offer allow your clients to make payments without authorization. This means that the client will first pay and then be able to log in. This feature is not available for all payment systems — there are limitations based on the data transferred from the payment system to the Kwiga platform.
Payment systems that support payment without authorization: Fondy, PayPal, WayForPay, Stripe.
Please note: if payment via GooglePay or ApplePay is enabled on the payment system, the system does not transmit the client's email address. In such cases, you will need to manually grant access to the client.
You can view the payment from the client on the platform in Transactions and CRM (Contacts). The client's email address will appear as a set-of-symbols@kwiga.com.
To find the real contact details and grant access, you will need to refer to the payment system.
How It Works:
Normally, when a client opens a page with an offer and clicks the "Pay" button, they see a form that must be filled out: email, password, and other fields you have specified.
Only after completing this form does the client proceed to the payment step.
Step 1:
Step 2 (for a new client):
If you allow payment without authorization, then after the offer page loads, when the client clicks the "Pay" button, they are taken directly to the payment page (in the screenshot below, the client is not logged in — it is enough to simply click the "Pay" button):
After the payment, the client will see a message confirming that the payment was successful, and an email with a link to access the product will be sent to the email address provided during payment.
If this is a new client and the email provided during payment is not yet associated with an account, when they access their account, they will be prompted to set a password and fill in any additional fields specified in the registration settings.
After completing authorization, the client will enter their personal account where they can see the purchased course.
Possible Issues:
-
Incorrect or Nonexistent Email:
If the client enters an incorrect or nonexistent email address during payment, they won't receive notifications about lesson availability and won't be able to recover their password.
To resolve this, you can delete the account with the incorrect email, create a new account with the correct email, and manually grant access to the course, marathon, or webinars. -
Delayed Payment Processing:
Some payment systems may require additional time (up to an hour) to process payments. This means that access to the purchased product might not be granted immediately but only after payment confirmation.
In this case, payment confirmation messages and access links will be sent to the specified email address. -
Multiple Accounts:
A client may have multiple accounts on the platform and might confuse which one to use.
Access to the product will be granted to the email used during the payment.
You can remove access from one account and open access on another account if necessary. -
Payments via GooglePay / ApplePay:
If you allow payments through GooglePay or ApplePay, the payment system may not transmit the client's email address.
In such cases, access must be granted manually.
Important:
In cases where an incorrect email is provided, make sure the client can contact you.
Your contact information should be available on the successful/unsuccessful payment page or on the offer page.
How to Set It Up:
To accept payments, you need to add a payment system and create an offer.
In the offer settings, make sure that in the "Payment Method" section, you select "Via Payment System."
If the payment system supports payment without authorization (Fondy, PayPal, WayForPay, Stripe), you will see a gear icon – settings.
Click on the gear icon, and in the new window you will see a toggle switch that allows payments without authorization.
Additionally, in the same window, you can configure the page that appears after a successful or unsuccessful payment by using the mini-landing page options.
If you are using a widget, you can also obtain a direct payment link for the offer without requiring authorization.
This means that from your landing page, the client will go directly to the payment system's page, minimizing the number of steps before payment. Please note: if the client is not authorized and payment without authorization is not allowed, accessing the link will result in a 404 error.
