- Offers and Payments on Kwiga: How It Works
The article describes how to create and configure a promotional offer on the platform. Options for setting discounts, time limits or the number of available offers, as well as automating notifications for participants are being considered.
In this article:
Promotional offers on the Kwiga platform allow you to apply discounts to your products or pricing plans with clear conditions. You can set time-limited or purchase-limited discounts, creating additional motivation for users. Once the promotion ends, the price automatically returns to its standard rate.
Promotional offers can be useful in various scenarios, such as:
-
Price Changes Over Time: If you plan to gradually increase the price of your product or pricing plan, discounts can encourage early registrations.
-
Webinar Promotions: After a webinar, you can set a discount that lasts for a limited time, such as 48 hours after the event.
-
Holiday Promotions: Discounts for occasions like New Year's, Black Friday, International Women’s Day (March 8), or other holidays.
-
Limited Spots Promotions: You can apply a discount to the first 10 or 20 spots to fill up a group faster, and more.
How to Create a Discounted Offer
To create a promotional offer, go to the Courses – Price plans, Offers section.
Click + Offer to create and configure it.
First, set the full price of the product, then add the promotional price.
In the corresponding field, enter the new price, as well as the start and end dates of the promotion.
You can also limit the number of purchases at the promotional price (e.g., 10 sales). If no limit is needed, leave the field empty or enter 0.
You can create multiple promotions for a single product.
For example, one discount can be active until a certain date, and after it expires, another discount with a slightly higher price can start automatically. To do this, the end date of one promotion should match the start date of the next.
How It Appears to Students at Checkout
On the product page, users will see:
-
The discounted and full price,
-
The discount expiration date,
-
The number of available discounted purchases (if a limit is set).
This creates additional motivation for users to make a quick purchase.
Promotional offers on Kwiga help automate discounting, making sales management significantly easier. Once a promotion ends, the system automatically restores the original price, eliminating the need for manual adjustments.
You can set up multiple promotions with different conditions, such as gradually increasing prices after each discount phase. This provides flexibility in sales strategy and helps efficiently manage demand.
For customers, promotional offers ensure transparency and provide an extra incentive for quick purchase decisions. They can see not only the current discount but also its duration and the number of available purchases, if limited. This creates a sense of urgency, encouraging users not to delay their purchases.
