If you offer personal consultations, one-on-one sessions, reviews, audits, and other services and would like to sell them on Kwiga, this article will explain how to do it.
In this article:
On Kwiga, you can sell products such as access to courses, marathons, closed groups, webinars, as well as consultations or individual sessions. The setup for selling consultations is identical to the course sale setup—you configure the offer, set the price, and choose the payment system. Another option is accepting consultation or session requests without payment—more details in this article.
Creating an Offer to Sell Consultations
Go to Sales - Offers and select +Offer. You will see the following fields:
In the offer title, specify what the payment will be for, such as:
-
Individual consultation with...
-
Personal consultation, 1 hour
-
Natal chart analysis
-
Course audit
This is necessary for both your understanding of what the payment is for, as well as for the clients, as this title will appear before and after payment.
For the offer status, select Public access, and you will immediately see the link. When clients click on the link, they will be able to make the payment for the consultation.
Offer Settings
Fill in the Description of the offer, describing what your clients will receive as a result of the consultation. This is an optional field, and you can skip it. However, we recommend including important details: consultation time, location, results, and other specifics. You may skip the short description.
Offer validity period – the period during which your clients will be able to pay for the consultation. This is not the time when the consultation will take place. Typically, you can set the period from the current date to "forever."
Sales limit – You can set a maximum number of consultations to be sold, or leave it unlimited.
For this example, we will show settings for consultations in September, limiting the number to 20 consultations. Sales start in August.
Notification Sending
Here, you can set up what email clients will receive in case of successful or unsuccessful payment.
To cancel the sending of emails, click on the email title and then switch the toggle at the top to "Do not send emails."
For consultations, we recommend creating separate emails that contain all the necessary information, such as where the consultation will take place, how to prepare for it, and other relevant details. Standard emails on the platform do not include this information, so create your own emails for successful and unsuccessful payments, and specify them in the offer settings. To select a different template for sending an email after a successful (or unsuccessful) payment, make sure the toggle at the top allows email sending, and choose the desired template. For more information on working with the email builder on Kwiga, refer to the article "How to Create an Email Marketing Campaign."
Pages After Payment
By default, students are directed to the standard "Thank You" page (or the corresponding page for unsuccessful payments), and from there, they are redirected to their personal account. For consultations, we recommend creating a separate page, which can be done using a mini-landing page or a full page. Additionally, in this section, you can specify a link to a calendar service (such as Calendly or Google Appoint Scheduler), or a link to a Telegram bot. For more details on solutions for integrating a calendar, check the article below.
Product
Since you are not selling access to a product on Kwiga in this case, you need to choose "Product - External Product."
Price
Select "Paid" and additional settings will immediately open for specifying the price and currency. Here, specify the maximum price for the course, and you will be able to add promotional offers after that.
Payment Method
Choose the payment system you want to use to receive payment for this offer. Note that Kwiga is not a payment system, and if you want to accept payments on the platform so that students automatically gain access to the course, you must connect a payment system (see instructions on how to do this in the article: "How to integrate a payment system on Kwiga?").
If you have more than one payment system connected (or several different accounts on one), you can set up automatic payment acceptance and specify the distribution percentage.
You can leave the choice of payment system for your clients:
Calendar Integration
Often, when selling consultations, it may be necessary to immediately offer the client a convenient time slot for the consultation. For this, you can use calendars that show available hours for consultations or scheduling services such as Calendly.
You can integrate any calendar by adding links to the page after payment. The simplest solution would be to create a mini-landing page on Kwiga, where you can provide information about selecting a time, and so on.
Go to All Solutions - Site - Widget, Mini-Landing. On the opened page, select +STA. You will see the page:
Here you can customize the text, fonts, colors, and add images. In this example, we’ll show how to add text and a link to a calendar.
Click on the text block, delete the default text, and enter your own.
Click on the button — on the left panel, you’ll be able to add a link to your calendar, as well as edit the button text, its color, and other properties. In this example, we’re using a link to Google Calendar, but you can use any other service.
You can also add a logo, images, and any other information you consider important.
Once you save the changes, exit the editor. Find the desired widget and click on the “three dots” menu, then select widget code.
Go to the Links and Mini-landing tab — there you will find the link to this page. This is the link you need to copy and paste into the Success Page after Payment field in your Offer settings.
How to Integrate Sales into Your Course
You can inform your clients about your consultations and allow them to purchase or book directly not only on your main page but also on the course page and even within course lessons. To do this, you’ll need the link to the consultation offer.
-
Open the course or lesson page where you'd like to place the consultation link.
This could be a simple hyperlink or, preferably, a button, which is more visible to clients. -
For example, let’s add a button to the course presentation page:
-
Open your course
-
Go to Settings → Public Pages
-
From there, you’ll be able to add a call-to-action button linking directly to the consultation offer.
Scroll down and find the section where you want to place the button. Add some supporting text, highlight the area, and from the menu, select Code (HTML).
Next, your steps will be the same as described in the article How to add a button to a lesson.
Just a reminder: the link you need to insert can be found on the Offer Card.
Using cross-sell opportunities
To use the cross-sell feature, you can add the option to purchase your consultations not only on the course page but also on the page with your product offers. In this case, when your clients reach the course payment page, they will be able to see that you offer consultations and have the opportunity to purchase one alongside the product.
To set this up:
-
Go to the Offers section in your Kwiga account.
-
Create or edit your product offer to include cross-sell opportunities.
-
Add your consultation offer as a related product (cross-sell) to be shown on the course payment page.
This can encourage clients to purchase additional services (such as consultations) while paying for their course
To set up cross-sell in Kwiga:
-
Open the offer for the course sale.
-
Go to the Cross-sell section.
-
Select one or more offers that you want to display alongside your course, such as consultations or other products.
-
Save the changes.
After that, when customers go to the course payment page, they will see additional product offers (e.g., consultations) that they can purchase together with the course.
Setting up sales notifications
You can set up notifications for all sales or for specific offers. Consultations require personal attention and involvement, so it's important not to miss any payments for them. To configure these notifications:
-
Open the Settings menu in the main menu.
-
Go to Notifications.
-
In the left menu, select Sales and then Offers.
Check how you would like to receive notifications: by email or through the notification module. Below, you can set whether you want to receive notifications for all payments or only for specific ones. The settings shown below are for email notifications for the consultation offer only:
Viewing sales analytics
To view the list of purchases for a specific offer, go to Analytics - Transactions:
This report shows all successful and unsuccessful payments in your project. Use the filter to view only those related to the specific offer—consultations (select the Offer and the relevant one), then click Apply Filter.
Please note, you can customize the column display in this report according to your preferences. For more details, read the article on Transactions.
