What to do if your course implies mandatory verification of tasks by the assistant. Learn more about how to attach an assignment as a simple question and how it will appear in the lesson.

How to create a task
First, you need to create a task for your course. Tasks are created separately from the course. Go to the Quizzes section and create a new task. You can learn about the different types of tasks available on Kwiga in the article Quizzes, practices: types of questions.
Give the quiz a name and add questions. You can choose different types, such as text answers, fill-in-the-blank, or multiple-choice. If the task requires a detailed answer use the Assessment (LMS) question type.
Tip: If your course has many practical tasks, include the lesson number or name in the task title. This will make it easier to organize and edit your course later.
How to set up mandatory review by a team member
For tasks that require manual review, you need to enable the Quiz Approval: Manual Review option in Settings. This feature allows the assistant to review student answers, leave comments, and determine whether the task has been completed correctly.
After creating the assignment, add it to a lesson using the lesson Builder. To do this, go to the Courses menu, find the course, and open the lesson. You can find more details on this process in a separate article. The assignment will be added as part of the lesson content, allowing students to complete it while studying the material.
If you want assignments to be reviewed manually by an Assistant for some course plans but checked automatically for others, you can set this up on the platform. Read more about this in the article How to create a task for different price plans.
How students will see the task
After you add an assignment, students will see it in the lesson content. To make sure everything looks correct, use the preview feature. Open the lesson designer, switch to preview mode, and check how the task appears from the student’s perspective.
When a student completes a task that requires review by an assistant, the status The quiz is awaiting verification by the assistant will appear under the title.
Only after the Assistant reviews the task will the status change to Passed, Not Passed, or Needs revision. After the review, the student will also be able to see comments, feedback, or recommendations from the assistant.
How to check a completed task
Important: Assignment review is only available in the Assistant's account, not the student's. The Assistant must make sure they are logged into the correct project as an Assistant (or Administrator), not as a student.
After a student submits an assignment, it becomes available for review in the Practice tab. The Assistant receives a notification, and the assignment is marked with a red indicator next to its title. In this section, you will find a list of all assignments related to the course. Select the task, open the student's answers, and review them carefully.
The assistant can leave comments on the answers, and change the status to Passed or Failed or Needs revision. Also, if the task includes grading, the Assistant can assign the number of points earned by the student.
This helps evaluate the student's knowledge in detail and provides useful feedback for improvement.
Requiring an assistant to review tasks ensures better quality control of students' learning and allows individual support. This improves the learning process and communication between students and assistants.
