Sell the course in parts or create different pricing plans with different sets of materials using flexible lesson access settings.
In this article:
When setting up an offer, you can choose exactly which lessons, sections, and modules participants will have access to. This allows you to sell the course in parts or create different pricing plans with different sets of materials.
Lesson access options
The setting is located in the offer editor under Product → Lesson access.

By default, the No restrictions mode is enabled - the participant gets access to all course lessons.
If you need to restrict access, select the Specific modules/lessons mode. A list will open where you can choose specific lessons, sections, or modules that will be available to participants under this offer.
Items available for selection:

Modules - you can select an entire module, including an empty one. If a module is empty, new lessons added to it later will be unavailable to participants unless the automatic access option is enabled (see below).
Lessons - grants access to a specific lesson.
Sections - you can select a separate section within a lesson without opening access to the entire lesson.
Automatic access to new lessons
When selecting the Specific modules/lessons mode, the Automatically make new sections, lessons, and modules available option appears.
If it is enabled, all new lessons and sections added to the course after access is granted automatically become available to participants under this offer. You can further restrict this behavior by specifying the exact modules to which automatic access applies.

If the option is disabled, new lessons must be added to the list of available ones manually.
Note: if an empty module is selected and the automatic access option is disabled, new lessons added to this module later will be unavailable to participants.
A similar setting is also available in individual orders if you need to edit lesson access for a specific student.
